I've used Jim's walk-in services maybe 3 or 4 times, all professional and very-competent performance. The most memorable: about 3 years after moving to Richmond, I took a house key to them: the key WORKED, but I had to jiggle the doorknob sometimes. They explained that they took calipers to the old key (probably a copy-of-a-copy X 3 or 4 times) From the calipers, they could interpret what the ORIGINAL key was, then cut a key PRECISELY - it works super-smoothly ever since! Went back for 5 more copies... What a bargain!

This is a horrible place. they lost my lock, and then said it wasn’t their fault! He left it unlocked on my hitch, he was the last person to touch it! I don’t know whose fault he thought it was! I wish I could give them a zero or a minus 10 . I went to tractor supply and paid $18.00 for a new one. My loss. 18 dollars isn’t the end of the world, but it’s just the idea of it.

Extremely professional. This man knows what he is doing! Broken safe, combination not working and he was able to drill in, retrieve unharmed contents and even repair the safe back to working order. The most amazing part is they quit making this particular safe or parts 40 years ago and he was still able to repair it.
He was prompt with correspondence/scheduling/arrival and waited for me to view contents first.
Another locksmith tried for 5 hours and could not complete the task that Jim did in less than 30 min. Far beyond 5 stars, I was very impressed. He is fair priced but worth every penny and more.

This is an unprofessional company. Called to ask if they have my car. Told they would get back to me after 45 minutes. One hour later. Called back. They have my car. Aske to get my things out of the vehicle. Told they would need to be paid. I told them hold on. They hung up on me. Called back to give Insurance information. Told they don't handle that. It would have to wait for the Adjuster. Ask to talk to the supervisor. They said ok. The same voice comes on the phone. I say this sounds like the same person. They say it is. I ask to talk to their supervisor. They say that would be the owner. Ask to speak to them. They say it will not help. I say I don't want to complain about their policies. I want to complain about their rudeness. They continue their rudeness by talking over me. They could of avoid all this by talking to me. Asking why they need to hold. Then explaining the policy. If you have a choice never use this company.

I locked my keys in my truck at my hotel and was short on time before having to get to a job location, it was 6:30 pm when I called and Ron said he just got home but he would head over to me and be there in 15 minutes, 15 minutes later he arrived on time and opened the door to my truck within a couple of minutes, great guy and great service, I highly recommend without hesitation, very reasonable price especially on short notice,

Quite possibly the best locksmith service this side of the Mississippi. I had to reschedule a couple times and they were always willing to oblige. I was impressed with the quick and efficient service. He checked and rechecked to make sure the new fob for my car worked. I will go to Lakeside for all my locksmith needs. Try them - you'll love them

Bravo Locksmith saves you a lot of time. Last night, I broke my car key near the San Jose Walmart Supercenter, but there was no mechanic open at that time. I found the number for Bravo Locksmith when I was looking for a locksmith near me. I have to say that their team did a great job and was on time. They came at 9:10 p.m. and quickly fixed the problem with my car key. I would for sure use their service again if I needed to. If you need a locksmith in San Jose, I would most definitely recommend Bravo Locksmith.
